FAQ's
1.) Do I have to book in advance to attend?
Yes. We have set sessions for the public which are capped at 18 spaces. We hate turning people away but by booking online it means that we can stick to our capacity making it safe for everyone.
2.) Do you have any sessions for adults?
Yes. We have an age 13+ session for those with complex needs or we have an age 17+ session.
3.) What is the age limit to attend a public sensory gym session?
At The Sensory Hive, we realise that everyone's sensory needs deserve to be met. Therefore the design of our sensory gym means that we have no age limit.
4.) Do we provide BUSS?
We do not provide the BUSS programme however we do offer AYRES sensory integration therapy services.
5.) How many spaces on one public sensory gym session is there?
On our sensory gym session we have spaces for 18 children. However, our Age 13+ complex needs sessions only have 10 spaces available as it is usually older children who attend.
6.) Can I do work experience at The Sensory Hive?
Yes! We offer work experience placements to those who are aged 14+ (in year 10 and above). Just pop us an email to hello@thesensoryhive.co.uk
