Therapy Space

Therapy space is where Occupational Therapy and Ayres’ Sensory Integration assessments and intervention are delivered. Sensory Integration therapy encourages the brain to rewire. The therapist will guide clients through activities involving brightly coloured pillows, swings, ball pits, bubble fans or tunnels to cultivate appropriate responses to stimuli. Eventually, these reactions become more natural for clients, in turn helping them participate in more typical activities both academically and socially.
