Our therapy space is designed for the assessment and intervention of Occupational Therapy and Ayres Sensory Integration®. Ayres Sensory Integration® is an evidence-based approach that supports the brain’s ability to process, organise, and integrate sensory information from the body and environment.

 

In our space, the therapist guides each client through play-based, meaningful activities, such as using swings, large cushions, tunnels, textured materials, and movement-rich equipment, that provide just-right sensory challenges. These carefully tailored experiences help the nervous system develop more efficient and adaptive responses to sensory input.

 

Over time, clients can use these improved sensory processing abilities to engage more successfully and confidently in daily activities at school, at home, and in social settings.
